Also in Faendal's house if he's your follower you can take his key the chest under the table doesn't respawn, nor do the cupboards or end table. The chest next to his bed, however, does respawn and is not safe. Using storage in an NPCs house may give you some ownership issues. My items sometimes show up red, while in the container, but I've never had any of them actually marked stolen.
In Riverwood, as you exit towards Whiterun, just before you pass through the gate I guess you can call it, there are two barrels on the right side. One has items in it and will respawn, the other is empty and can be used for storage and doesn't respawn.
However that does not make it safe from theft, although I have never lost anything while using it. Last edited by mpd ; 30 Dec, pm.
The chest in Jorrvaskar, behind the railing and to the right of the entrance is safe. You guys rock! There's always an alternative to getting an immersive house on Nexus. I've seen a couple small, and very compact houses for the player. But if you don't want to approach that way, I'm sure Other than that, I'm sure Inns have holdings if you rent out rooms, that's if you make enough gold.
Is there a way to tell if a container respawns or not? I've been putting stuff in the barrel just outside breezehome in white run ever since the game came out. She got the last laugh. Has it been tested and confirmed? In Oblivion, the best place for me to do this was in the dark brotherhood headquarters because you can use all of the member-specific chests which are not randomized.
Just play the game and stop spamming the boards with the same question about playing the game without doing quests. Never had a problem with things gone missing. Spoiler and become harbinger of the companions and take over Kodlak's chambers, in which the items are no longer marked as being owned by someone else. I have created a grand total of 3 topics in the past 56 hours, when I first joined. All 3 of my topics are spaced hours apart.
It is surprising, and disturbing and borderline stalker behavior on your part. I don't know you. Stop trying to act like a moderator. If you don't like my topics, don't read them. You are never going to change the way a perfect stranger thinks, by telling them how to behave when you've never even been introduced before. Also, "the game isn't that buggy". Are you some kind of fool?
Do you even read the topics posted on this forum, or just mine? It consists of one zone, Faendal's House. There is only one room to the house and it is crammed with items. Starting to the right and moving counter-clockwise, there is a small dining table with two chairs, followed by a single bed, a non-respawning end table and a non-respawning cupboard, and then the fireplace.
Next is a food table with a bench, then a respawning food barrel and an armor table, and finally another non-respawning cupboard. To the right of the bed is a respawning chest and there is a cooking pot by the fire, and a small non-respawning chest under the armor table. Banankingak47 posted I just showed up to Riverwood after escaping my execution. I talked to the trader, went outside and saw him dead on the road. I was hoping he would have better things to give me than just a hunter bow.
Hopefully his house is lootable without stealing? User Info: H3ll81lly. More topics from this board Here's why.
