Although they have light displays and the reptile house open for viewing, it is very small and limited in scope. If you are interested in holiday lights at the zoo, I would recommend the extra drive south to Point Defiance Zoo and Zoolights. It beats Woodland Park hands down. The exhibits are wonderful, and the animals there look very well taken care of and happy. I give this zoo a 5 out of 5 and rate it the best zoo in Washington.

You must go to this zoo! You will never regret it! I think Woodland Park Zoo is the best zoo I've ever visited. The habitat for each animal is carefully planned - and it is obvious to an observer. The people who work here know the animals, and will answer questions. Great day for any age to enjoy seeing animals.
